Lungworm can result in a range of symptoms. Your dog may show one or more of the following signs, but may show no symptoms at all in the early stages of the disease.

Breathing Problems

  • Coughing
  • Tiring easily

Poor Blood Clotting

  • Excessive bleeding
  • Nose bleeds
  • Bleeding into the eye
  • Anaemia

Behaviour Changes

  • Depression
  • Lethargy
  • Seizures (fits)

General Sickness

  • Weight loss
  • Poor appetite
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea

If you notice any of the symptoms described above, or if you think your dog might be at risk, then it’s important to talk to us.

Earl diagnosis and treatment will give your dog the best chance of a complete recovery.
