to all the dogs that gave up their afternoon with their humans to help save the lives of other dogs.

We managed to collect 10 Units of Blood which is fantastic. All the dogs were very well behaved

We will be running another Blood Donation Clinic in the new year.

Dog Blood Donor Requirements

• Fit and healthy
• Between one and eight years old
• Weigh more than 25kg
• Have a good temperament
• Have never travelled abroad
• Vaccinated
• Not on any medication

*Dog’s cannot give blood up to 14 days after their annual booster

Canine blood only has a shelf life of 30-35 days, this is why active canine blood donors are so important.
