Meet Amelia… She is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses here at Manor Vets, monitoring a patient whilst under general anaesthetic.

Understanding anaesthetic and analgesic protocols is a major and crucial role for our Registered Veterinary Nurses, along with monitoring patients under general anaesthetic and reporting their findings back to the Veterinary Surgeon keeping patients safe throughout the procedure.

An understanding of what are normal parameters for many species, including their heart rate, temperature, breathing rate and blood pressure is vital.
